It makes me all misty thinking this is my last session with this AWESOME family. I met them through the Seattle families of multiples and have been photographing this gang since 2009. It's been a true joy to watch this family grow. I love the challenge of capturing images of young siblings together when they might not be the easiest, ahem most cooperative subjects in the world. Probably because they remind me of my high energy, high drama, well, sort of maniac children and the challenge it can be to get them all together. So when I work with these guys, I feel right at home and I love that they take the time to do this every year and I always look forward to it.
This session was bittersweet in that they are moving across the country this Summer so they wanted one last session that paid tribute to their time in Seattle. And so we did, starting at their house and then wandering over to the pier with lots of running around, some browsing in the strange shops on the waterfront and of course some Starbucks. We ended the day on the harbor steps and a quick trip to the gum wall. All and all, it was so great and I'm happy they'll have some photos to take with them on their new adventure. They will be sorely missed in Seattle. XO
